Atlantic Coast Camel Caravan

This fabulous trip starts within the Argan trees outside of Marrakesh. The chauffeured 4-wheel-drive cars drop you off on the plateaus and you go down through a beautiful path close to villages and fields under cultivation to join the Atlantic Coast. We'll continue along a big dune dominating the ocean then we'll visit the Caravanserai of Sidi Ahmed Saih Marabout before reaching our first camp. It will be set up on the hilltop of the dunes plunging into the Ocean.

During the next few days you'll travel alongside the ocean, jagged with cliffs and immense beaches where only the trails of sea gulls, asgen herons, and oyster catchers are outlined on the sand. You'll meet with the fishermen and the locals. This is a mythical trip offering a great opportunity to gaze in contemplation during midday halts in the shade of a cliff or an Argan tree. It is also a chance to play a game with the big waves of the Atlantic.

The grand finale is our arrival at Essaouira with our Caravan, just like in the era of the merchant caravans which ended their long journey in the old Mogador from the ancient Sudan.

This tour offers a special value since it includes all meals from dinner on the day of your arrival through breakfast on the day of your departure.
