Morocco Mountain Trek

The Massif of Tubkal rises from the High Atlas, over the plains of the Haouz near Marrakesh. When the weather is clear we can see it snow-capped from the autumn to the spring. Its proximity and easy access enable us to plunge into the heart of its ravishing valleys, rich with culture and beauty.

The population live their lives with tenacity, cultivating barley and wheat on terraces clinging to the mountains’ flanks. The small village houses with their stone and adobe walls offer a relaxing and refreshing shelter in the summer. The cheerfulness and gaiety of the inhabitants resonate in this crystalline setting.

The itinerary is mainly on mule paths, whose climbing variation in level can reach 1,100 meters. The ascent of Tubkal is optional and does not represent any technical difficulty.

The nightly stopping places are selected according to water sources, established camp sites, or for the beauty of the site itself. Both the collective equipment and your personal luggage are transported on the mules’ packsaddles.

This tour offers a special value since it includes all meals from dinner on the day of your arrival through breakfast on the day of your departure.

This tour is only available from mid-June to mid-November due to the extreme weather conditions that might prevail at other times.
